Proverbs 18:13- It is embarrassing to answer before listening to the facts. Proverbs 18:15- Intelligent people are always eager to learn; and the ear of the wise inquire knowledge.

Please assume that no person purposely intended to hurt or offend you, but a mistake was simply made or there is a misunderstanding. Friends go directly to their friend when they are bothered or confused in any way. Friends may not always agree, but we can always be gracious and kind.  1st Corinthians 13:7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best in every person…

 Hebrews 12:15- Let no one become like a bitter plant of resentment that grows up and causes many to become contaminated.
1st Peter 4:8- And above everything, love one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others].

When a person doesn’t handle an offense or a misunderstanding Biblically, a lot of times they will speak to others about the situation. Not only does this grow the bitter root on the inside of the offended person, but it also causes strife in our family.  Matthew 12:25 - a house with internal strife is continually brought to destruction. Romans 12:18- Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everyone.

We have very little tolerance for strife, discord, and/or drama. We will do whatever it takes to help someone who struggles in this area, in order to provide a safe & peaceful environment for all at Faith First Academy. We will love and accept any person who is willing to be a maintainer of peace, but we cannot allow someone to harm our family by continuously sowing discord. l. Romans 16:17-18 -Now I urge you, my friends, watch out for those who cause divisions… I warn you to avoid them. 1st Corinthians 5:11-13- Do not associate with any Christian who is a slanderer… Do not even sit down to eat with such a person. Drive out that wicked one from among you. Expel him from your church. 

WE RESPECT

1st Peter 2:17 - Show respect for all men.

We treat one another with great respect. We do not permit anyone to give any personal advice or suggestions unless they have first asked our permission & won our heart. Once someone feels free to tell you what you should be doing w/o first asking your permission and winning your heart, they have reduced you to a child & that relationship has become manipulative. Jesus died so every Christian can come directly to God and does not need another man to tell him God’s personal will for his life. We are very proud to say that our school  is gracious and very careful to ask permission before we give suggestions. Our heart is for you to become confident in hearing the voice of the Lord. John 16:13- When the Spirit comes, He will lead you…He will speak to you…The Spirit will take what I say and reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.

WE LIVE TO GIVE

Luke 6:38 Give, and God will give to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall they give unto you. For the measure that you use, God will use for you. 

WE CHOOSE FRIENDS WISELY

Prov. 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Prov. 27:17 As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.

Prov. 12:26 The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.

WE FULFILL OUR DESTINY

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Ephesians 2:10  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to DO.
